Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mile Buy Club ("MBC," "we," "us"), including our website, waitlist, accounts, trip recommendations, the Miles chat assistant, group trip planning, price alerts, and related features (together, the "Service"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account, using a guest session, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Mile Buy Club.

This document is a launch template written in plain English. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before you rely on it for production or commercial use.

What Mile Buy Club is (and is not)

Mile Buy Club is a travel-discovery product. Based on preferences you share — such as party size, budget, interests, travel dates, passport or home country, and home airport — we generate trip ideas ("decks" or "cards") and surface flight and hotel price information gathered from third-party sources.

Mile Buy Club helps you discover, compare, and plan trip ideas. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, or booking platform. We do not sell tickets or lodging, we do not take bookings on your behalf, and we do not guarantee that any trip can be purchased at the price or availability shown. When you decide to book, you leave Mile Buy Club and transact directly with a third-party provider under that provider's own terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Mile Buy Club. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts and guest sessions

You can browse some of the Service through a temporary guest session (backed by a short-lived cookie) before creating an account. To save trips, sync preferences, join a group, or receive email, you create an account with your email address.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@milebuyclub.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear inactive, inaccurate, abusive, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

Prices, availability, and booking

Flight and hotel figures shown in Mile Buy Club are best-effort estimates drawn from third-party sources and gathered through automated web tooling. Prices change frequently.

  • Some totals are shown as estimates — labeled with "est." or a "≈" symbol, and where a component was converted from another currency the original amount and currency are preserved (for example, "≈$95, from €88"). Estimated totals are rounded so that any rounding error is in your favor.
  • We aim never to fabricate a price, but we cannot guarantee that any displayed amount, itinerary, seat, room, or fare is accurate, complete, current, or bookable when you try to purchase it.

Estimates are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. They are not offers to sell travel, not confirmed reservations, and not advice to buy or book. Always confirm the final price, availability, and terms on the booking site before you purchase.

AI-generated content and the Miles assistant

Trip recommendations, itinerary descriptions, destination tags, and the responses from our Miles chat assistant are generated or assisted by large language models (AI). AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and it may occasionally get facts wrong.

Treat AI-generated recommendations and chat answers as starting points for your own research — not as professional travel, legal, financial, visa, or medical advice. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on, including entry requirements, prices, and availability.

Groups, shared plans, and shared links

Mile Buy Club lets you create or join trip groups to plan together, exchange messages, react, and vote. If you create a group, invite others, or share a link to a trip or plan, be aware that the people you share with can see the content you have added — including trip details, messages, and your display name. Share links may be viewable by anyone who has the link. Only share content you are comfortable making visible to those recipients. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to others.

Email and notifications

We send transactional email (such as account confirmation, password resets, and waitlist confirmations) as part of the Service. If you opt in, we also send FareWatch price alerts and other product updates or digests. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us; we may still send transactional messages required to operate your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with Mile Buy Club or the systems we rely on, except as allowed by applicable law
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security measures
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or upload malware or other harmful content
  • Use outputs from the Service to build a competing scraping or recommendation product in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law

Intellectual property

Mile Buy Club — including its branding, site design, software, and the original content we publish — is owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial trip discovery.

You retain rights to the preference information and content you submit. You grant us a license to use that information to operate, personalize, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PRICE OR AVAILABILITY INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR BOOKABLE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILE BUY CLUB AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY RECOMMENDATION OR PRICE ESTIMATE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mile Buy Club and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Termination

You may stop using Mile Buy Club at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, if we discontinue the product, or if we need to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity — will survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
